Virginia Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle & Cockapoo Breeder Serving Delaware
$400 hand-delivery to Delaware — Wilmington, Newark, Dover, and the Sussex County beach towns — or meet us in Bethesda or Northern Virginia at no charge. Our Appomattox farm is about five hours from Wilmington. Embark coat-panel verified, non-shedding multigenerational doodles.
What our program is built around
- Coat-panel verified non-shedding
- Both parents are Embark coat-panel verified to carry only non-shedding gene variants before they're approved — so we can say with confidence that our puppies are non-shedding and hypoallergenic.
- Embark health reports on every parent
- Every parent is screened with Embark for 200+ genetic conditions before they're eligible for our program.
- Generation threshold
- Every parent is at least F1B and most are multigenerational — F1B is the earliest generation a fully non-shedding coat is a probable result. Goldendoodles, Cockapoos, and Bernedoodles only.

Frequently asked questions
What does delivery to Delaware cost?
$400 flat, hand-delivered from our Appomattox farm to your Delaware address — Wilmington, Newark, Dover, the beach towns, or anywhere in between. The fee covers the round-trip drive, and an in-person handover.
Can we meet you somewhere closer to skip the $400 fee?
Yes. We offer free meetups in Bethesda, MD or Northern Virginia (Fairfax / Tysons). From Wilmington, Bethesda is about two hours each way versus five to Appomattox — typically the easier afternoon.
How long is the drive from Appomattox to Wilmington?
Roughly five hours and fifteen minutes one-way; long-haul runs are Monday through Friday.
Do you serve the Delaware beaches?
Yes — Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, and Fenwick Island are all serviced at the same $400 Delaware rate. The drive is closer to six hours but treated identically.
Will a Mini Bernedoodle do well in northern Delaware?
Yes — the Brandywine Valley around Greenville and Hockessin is climate-comfortable for our Mini Bernedoodles (20–30 lb), with mature tree canopy and cooler microclimates than the rest of the state. The beach-town and shore-county addresses handle a Mini's lighter coat load equally well. We do not raise Standard Bernedoodles.
Are farm visits possible from Delaware?
Yes. Farm visits are welcome Monday through Saturday by appointment, and video calls work too.
